Biography
Hi! I’m Antonella Lent and I am a school psychologist. I completed my master’s degree in School Psychology and have worked in the Winnipeg education system for over 15 years. I have had the privilege of working with youth of all ages, their families and caregivers.
One of my roles as a school psychologist is to provide psychoeducational assessments with children in a child-centered, strength-based approach to gain a better understanding of a child’s unique set of cognitive and learning strengths and difficulties.
Practice
I believe in working with the child, their caregivers and their school team in an effort to understand a child’s strengths and areas where they need more support. My experience working with children and families in school systems helps me to understand the factors that can help improve a child’s functioning in home and school settings. Some areas of specialty include assessment of AD/HD, Intellectual Developmental Disorder, learning disabilities and anxiety.
