My name is Nicole, and I am currently a Master’s in Counselling Psychology student at Yorkville University. I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology as well as certifications and courses in cognitive behavioural therapy and play therapy.
I am also a student member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. I have had the opportunity to help individuals with their challenges using cognitive behavioural techniques.
I also have a French immersion upbringing and identify as a Métis woman, although, I am still continuing to learn about my Métis journey.
I aspire to provide a safe and non-judgmental space that allows for open communication and support. We all have our own challenges, and I believe that all people should be treated as individuals with their own cultural and spiritual backgrounds.
I am excited to continue my counselling journey by supporting people of diverse ages and backgrounds using different counselling strategies.
