With over 25 years of experience in addictions and mental health, I bring a deeply person-centered, strengths-based approach to counselling that honors each individual’s unique story and capacity for healing. My practice is rooted in empathy, humility and respect, creating a safe space for people to explore challenges and rediscover their resilience.
I bring extensive experience supporting individuals through addictions recovery and mental health concerns, grief and loss, trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship conflict and life transitions. My integrative therapeutic approach draws from a rich blend of modalities, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Attachment Theory, and Mindfulness—based practices. This flexible framework allows me to tailor support to each person’s needs, fostering insight, emotional regulation, and meaningful change.
I value the wisdom of lived experience – both my own and that of those I work with – and recognize that healing is not linear. I honor the importance of decolonizing therapy by acknowledging systemic harms, centering cultural safety, and supporting the healing of intergenerational trauma. I strive to create a space where all identities are respected, and where people feel empowered to reclaim their stories and their strengths. My goal is to support individuals in reconnecting with their inner wisdom and building lives rooted in authenticity, connection, and hope.
