Hello! I’m Nicole Shaw, a social worker with 7 years of experience in the field. I am a member with the Canadian Association of Social Workers and registered with the Manitoba College of Social Workers, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Booth University College. My expertise includes supporting individuals through addiction, suicidal ideation, grief, loss, poverty, and many other challenges. I employ a person-centred, strengths-based approach with a trauma-informed lens, serving diverse populations.
In my practice, I strive to provide a safe and comfortable space where individuals can express their truest selves. I believe in working alongside an individual while they gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their past experiences. Through our work together, I hope to help you build self-resilience in your life in a non-judgemental way. I am privileged to sit, listen and guide individuals toward self-determination.
