I am a registered social worker who graduated in 2017, from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Social Work degree. Since beginning my practice, I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals and families navigating complex and often overwhelming life challenges.
My professional experience includes working in the areas of family violence, substance use, and mental health struggles, including crisis management. I have supported clients through periods of acute distress as well as longer-term healing, offering a compassionate, non-judgmental space grounded in safety and respect.
I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel seen, heard, and supported. My approach is holistic and relational, focusing on the whole person rather than a single problem. I work alongside clients to explore patterns, strengthen self-awareness, and develop tools that align with their values and lived experiences. I aim to create a calm, grounded space where clients can check in, reflect, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Through trauma-informed practice, I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT-informed), and mindfulness-based practices. Together, we work to understand patterns, build emotional regulation skills, and strengthen self-compassion and resilience. I value authenticity, curiosity, and respect, and I support clients in moving toward meaningful and sustainable change at their own pace.
