Biography: I am a Master of Social Work student at Wilfrid Laurier University and registered with the Manitoba College of Social Workers. I graduated with my Bachelor of Social Work in 2015 and an Applied Counselling Certificate in 2012. I have also completed training in therapeutic approaches that help you explore and alter thought patterns and personal narratives, explore your relationship with emotions, explore attachment and relationship patterns, and evaluate coping strategies.
My Practice: Hi, I am so glad you’re here. I’m Carina. I facilitate a collaborative, therapeutic space for you to show up just as you are. I believe we all have gifts, insights, and experiences that inform how we progress and move through life. Sometimes we need someone to help us understand and rediscover parts of ourselves. If you are looking to reconnect with yourself, understand patterns and behaviours, and process life experiences, this is the place to create healing. I hope to offer you a safe place where you can find healing and new ways of dealing with life challenges, so life does not seem so stressful.
I have helped treat those living with depression, anxiety, PTSD and those feeling overwhelmed by their emotions and relationship difficulties. I use an approach that is unique to you and your specific needs and preferences. I demonstrate this by believing and treating you as the expert of your experiences and walking alongside you in your healing journey.
I know it can be really hard and scary to reach out for support, but I am here to help. I look forward to hearing from you.
