Biography: I’m a registered social worker (MSW) with over 14 years’ experience working with children, teens, and families involved in the child welfare system. I’ve been in practice since 2022 as a therapist and I’m dedicated to supporting children, teens, adults, and families (including foster families and alternative care settings) who are facing challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts. I make use of a wide range of techniques – including EMDR, DBT, CBT, art/play therapy, attachment-informed, and mindfulness-based practices – to build a treatment plan that is personal and authentic to each client and their struggles.
My Practice: As a therapist, I am kind, sincere, and non-judgmental, and my approach to therapy is based in collaboration, allowing for a strengths-based and client-led experience that is as empowering as it is validating. I’m dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable, and affirming space to explore and grow, no matter how far along the healing journey a client may be.
It’s absolutely normal to feel nervous about reaching out. But remember: asking for help is an act of courage – you deserve to be seen, heard, and understood. You can always expect warmth and support from me, no matter the challenges you or your family may be facing.
